Her father Calido is one of the most successful sires and the father of a lot of international showjumping horses. On her mother side there are 5 generations state premium mares starting with her grandmother Felippa who became 2nd in the Elitemarechampionship in Elmshorn, in the mare test she got a 10 for walk and a 10 for jumping. Her daughter by Parco xx was second at the Elitestutenchampionship in Elmshorn. Blizzard´s mother Pritella has never been ridden, she is breeding mare.
